Is NeuroBirds free to play?
Yes, NeuroBirds is completely free to download and play. There are optional non-consumable purchases to unlock additional birds instantly.
What does the Premium unlock include?
Premium unlocks 21 birds in total: 11 instantly, and 10 seasonal birds throughout the year. This includes Aurora, the founder bird.
Does the game require an internet connection?
No. The entire brain simulation runs 100% on-device. You can play completely offline.
How does the brain persist?
Your bird's brain lives on your device and is saved locally. Between sessions it sleeps and dreams, and the time you spent together settles into memory.
What happens if I don't play for a while?
Your bird will dream and notice your absence — its bond with you and its personality keep taking shape from how you treat it over time. It won't die.
Is my data collected or shared?
Absolutely not. We collect zero data. There are no tracking SDKs or ads.
Which devices support the Voice of the Bird?
The Voice of the Bird is powered by Apple Intelligence and needs an iPhone 15 Pro or newer, running iOS 26 or later with Apple Intelligence enabled. Everything is generated on your device. On all other devices, the bird speaks from a curated hand-written phrase collection instead.
Can I choose how my bird speaks?
Yes. Pick one of five voices — Tender, Cheerful, Thoughtful, Playful, or a dry tough-love mode behind the parental PIN — and on iPhones with Apple Intelligence your bird speaks in your language (English, German or Spanish). Its real mood shapes what it says: its thoughts, its dreams and a daily greeting.
How do I restore my purchases?
You can restore purchases in the game's Settings menu or directly on the paywall screen.
Is Family Sharing supported?
Yes, all our in-app purchases are non-consumable and fully support Apple's Family Sharing.
What is the age rating?
NeuroBirds is rated 4+ on the App Store and is completely safe for families.
